A member of the Loasaceae, the Loasa Family
Inflorescence detail.
This individual is like several similar species of Mentzelia, which cannot
be positively identified without a close examination of seeds, which I did not have.
On hillside to south of Ivanpah Road, near end of pavement, at ca. 3900 feet elevation.
